Plant Condition and Monitoring

Condition Monitoring: The process of systematic data collection and evaluation to identify changes in performance or condition of a system, or its components, such that remedial action may be planned in a cost effective manner to maintain reliability.

Effective maintenance management depends on the accurate forecasting and diagnosis of problems with plant and machinery. Using the wrong maintenance technique can waste time, money and resources with no effect on uptime of a pump, compressor or machine tool’s availability.  Condition monitoring therefore is a strategic and targeted equipment monitoring programme, based upon understanding the plant and its operating conditions to ensure continued productivity.

We take plant and machine maintenance as an art and thrive to use our expertise within our team to achieve highest possible productivity results for our clients.

Techniques used for condition monitoring

  • Vibration Measurement and Analysis
  • Oil Condition and Wear Debris Analysis
  • Thermography
  • NDT, especially thickness testing
  • Performance trending, e.g. flow rate measurement
